RunCoachSync · iPhone and Apple Watch

A training plan that works for you, not the other way around.

Stop following a static PDF that are generic to everyone. RunCoachSync builds a plan around your specifc goals, days, schedules structured workouts into the Apple Watch native Workout app, matches finished runs from Apple Health, and uses fitness checkpoints to tell you whether you are on track for your goal. No guessing what the right plan is for you, just goals and results.

RunCoachSync advanced marathon week showing tempo or fartlek quality sessions

From the app

This week auto sync to your watch.

A real capture of an advanced full-marathon plan: quality sessions such as tempo and fartlek sit next to the long run, ready to schedule into the Apple Watch Workout app.

The rest of the product is built around that list. Generate the plan, send the week to the watch, let Apple Health check days off, and use fitness checkpoints to see if the goal is still honest.

Real pace suggestions based on your specific goals and fitness levels.

Built for real weeks

Most plans break the moment you skip a Tuesday. RunCoachSync is designed around the week you actually get.

Plans that fit your days

Pick 5K, 10K, half, full, or a custom calendar. Set how many days you can run, your long-run day, blocked days, extra-time days, and planned time off. Beginner programs can include walk-run intervals.

Apple Watch, no companion app

Structured workouts schedule into the built-in Workout app. Pace, heart rate, cadence, and interval cues happen on the wrist you already wear. Not yet another tracking app that doesn't fully integrate into your Apple ecosystem.

Apple Health checks the box

Finished runs in Apple Health match back to plan days. Ambiguous workouts ask you which day they belong to. Treadmill and messy GPS runs can be confirmed by hand when the watch can't go the last mile.

Fitness checkpoints

Plans include checkpoint weeks with a time trial that measures whether you are on track for your goal. With Dynamic Training, accept the result and upcoming paces retune from the trial you just ran, not from last month’s estimate.

Workout Builder

Create your own sessions with warmup, repeats, and cooldown. Target pace, heart rate zone, cadence, or power, then send any workout to the watch. This is the missing workout builder companion app the watch is missing.

Race-day pacing

Set a split strategy for race morning, including optional hills from a GPX file or key climbs, and sync a paced race-day workout.

Reminders and suggestions

Optional notifications before scheduled plan runs. Optional workout suggestions built from recent Apple Health history, ready to swipe onto your list.

When the plan has to change

The core app lets you skip, complete, or reschedule a day. Dynamic Training unlocks coach-style intelligence on top.

Coach Intelligence

Miss or move a run and the app weighs the impact on your goal. Swap days, skip a week, mark a recovery week, or reshape upcoming work instead of guessing.

Sick Mode

Pause training while you are ill, stop missed-run nags, then ease back with a graduated return. Guidance for training only, not medical advice.

Race Journey

Have a far off goal and want to start now instead of craming miles in later? This is a multi-phase path built backward from race day: base for durability, build for strength, race-specific work to sharpen. Phases line up to your race date.

Insights, shoes, and sharing

Performance insights

Fitness score, readiness, pace efficiency, and how well you hit targets, drawn from Apple Health. Informational, not a diagnosis.

Easy pace that tracks you

Everyone can set an easy pace by hand. Subscribers get a smoothed weekly trend from easy and recovery runs, so one rough outing does not reset the whole picture.

Shoe rotation

Track mileage and remaining life, look up a model in the catalog, and get a suggestion for which pair to wear on a given session.

PDF export

Share a plan or a whole journey as a formatted PDF when you want a paper copy or a coach who is not on the app.

On-track, or honest about the gap

Checkpoint results can also support a goal-time change later in the block when the data says the original target is no longer the right one.

Post-run notes

Short coaching notes after a finished plan run: easy-day discipline, quality execution, weather, and easy-pace trend.
